A behind-the-scenes tour of the UBC Marine Mammal Open Water Projects at the Steller Sea Lion Research Station at Reed Point Marina in Port Moody was auctioned off for $500 at the recent Mossom Creek Hatchery gala.

The money will go toward rebuilding Port Moody’s Mossom Creek Hatchery, which was destroyed by fire in December 2013.

For more information about the research station go to www.marinemammal.org/research/steller-sea-lion-research/open-water. For opportunities to contribute to the reconstruction of Mossom Creek Hatchery go to www.mossomcreek.org.
