Accessibility upgrades

Mossom Creek Hatchery and Education Centre is the first gold-certified building in the City of Port Moody under the Rick Hansen Foundation Accessibility Certification (RHFAC) program and the first fish hatchery in Canada to achieve this high standard. In May 2023, we held an event to recognize the continued support of partners, local businesses, community members, and the Mossom Creek Hatchery Accessibility Upgrade Project Team and celebrate our shared efforts to bring attention to the importance of accessibility and inclusiveness for all.
