school programs

Our education programs are designed to be an interactive, engaging, and fun way to learn about the natural world! Through experiential learning and guided exploration, students are encouraged to interact with nature with curiosity and care—discovering the details of plants, animals, and ecosystems as they go. By fostering wonder and deepening ecological understanding, we aim to cultivate lifelong learners and stewards of the environment.

Our programs are adaptable to any age group or learning level and are available either on-site in the beautiful Mossom Creek Watershed or in your very own classroom!

ON-SITE PROGRAMS

On-site programs provide students with unique, hands-on learning opportunities beyond the walls of the classroom, creating immersive learning experiences that bring science and discovery to life. These programs help to bridge concepts learned in the classroom with real-world connections in the natural setting of the Mossom Creek Watershed.

Our on-site education programs run Tuesday-Thursday. For availability outside these dates, please contact our Programs Team at programs@mossomcreek.org. Our programs run as half-day (10:00 am – 12:00 pm or 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm) or full-day (10:00 am – 2:00 pm) workshops. Details & pricing below.

We can accommodate up to 2 classes (a maximum of 60 students) onsite at a time, but please note that our availability for 2-class visits is limited.

IN-CLASS PROGRAMS

We now have in-school program options! Have a Mossom Educator bring the wonders of environmental education to your classroom. These 1-1..5 hour workshops are designed to bring interactive learning to you! Our programs, Salmon Forest and Nature Interpreters, are both available in this format.

In-class programs run Tuesday-Thursday. For availability outside these dates, please contact our Programs Team at programs@mossomcreek.org.
